The IEEE Smart World Congress 2025 (IEEE SWC2025) is a premier event of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society bringing together thought leaders and researchers in smart technologies. The IEEE SWC2025 is to be held in the vibrant city of Calgary, Canada, from August 18-22, 2025, and the conference provides a unique platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation across fields such as IoT, AI, smart cities, cybersecurity, and computing.

This year, we proudly announce the theme for IEEE SWC2025: “Convergence of Minds: Forging Human-AI Partnerships Across Disciplines”. The smart world is transforming everyday life by integrating sensation, communication, computation, and intelligence into the objects and systems around us, making processes more efficient and enjoyable. This interconnected ecosystem of "smart things" holds tremendous potential to benefit humanity, but it also demands fairness and ethical stewardship.

Attendees will gain insights from the co-located conferences, keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, all while experiencing Calgary’s renowned attractions and thriving tech ecosystem.
